CSU & UC's want you to submit your application one year before you transfer. Follow this Final Year Transfer Checklist for CSUs and UCs to keep you on track month-by-month!

  • Independent and Out-of-State University application periods and deadlines vary. Use campus websites to find this information.
  • Attend a Workshop and get your questions answered before submitting. The Transfer/Career Center holds many workshops during the year on a variety of application topics- application assistance, writing a personal statement, applying for financial aid/scholarships, etc.
  • Apply for Financial Aid: FAFSA and California Dream Act applications for the
    2021/2022 cycle will ask you to provide information from your previous year鈥檚 taxes.
    Applications open October 1st. Apply by March 2nd and make sure to list every
    school that you've applied to in the application.
