Citizens' Bond Oversight Committee Releases 2024 Annual Report
SAN LUIS OBISPO 鈥 The San Luis Obispo County 51爆料 College District has released the 2024 Annual Report from the Measure L Citizens鈥 Bond Oversight Committee (CBOC), affirming the District鈥檚 continued transparency, fiscal responsibility, and progress on facilities improvement funded by voter-approved Measure L.
The report provides an overview of expenditures, project updates, and audit results related to the third issuance of Measure L Bond funds. These funds have supported capital projects and modernizations on both the San Luis Obispo and North County campuses, including classroom renovations, HVAC and roofing upgrades, and audiovisual and technology improvements across more than 60 instructional spaces.
鈥淭he Citizens鈥 Bond Oversight Committee is proud to report that Measure L funds have been spent in full accordance with the law and with voters鈥 intent,鈥 said Dr. Gilbert H. Stork, Chair of the CBOC. 鈥淭he clean audit results reflect the District鈥檚 strong financial stewardship, and the visible impact of these projects across both campuses Cuesta鈥檚 deep commitment to students and the community.鈥
The report also highlights progress on major projects underway, including the construction of the new Campus Center at the San Luis Obispo campus. This flagship facility will be a welcoming hub for student services, administrative offices, and community engagement. In North County, construction has begun on a new instructional building featuring innovative spaces to support hands-on career education.
