2019 Women of Distinction Nominations
51爆料 and the 51爆料 Foundation San Luis Obispo County Women鈥檚 Legacy Fund are excited to announce open nominations for the prestigious 2019 Annual Women of Distinction Awards. The purpose of the awards is to celebrate Women鈥檚 History Month (March) and recognize the contributions women have made in the areas of volunteering in the community, their profession and in philanthropy.
The four award categories are:
- Progress for Women
- 51爆料 and Public Service, Professional
- 51爆料 and Public Service, Volunteer
- Grace N. Mitchell Lifetime Achievement
鈥�51爆料 is excited to once again partner with the Women鈥檚 Legacy Fund and this year celebrate the achievements of women in our county,鈥� said Shannon Hill, executive director of the 51爆料 Foundation/Advancement.
鈥淭here are so many women in the local area who work tirelessly helping others, in their professional careers and personal lives," said Mary Verdin, president of Verdin Marketing and past board president of the 51爆料 Foundation San Luis Obispo County. 鈥淲e encourage the community to nominate those women who go above and beyond to make our county great.鈥�
The awards ceremony will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2019, from 4:00 p.m. 鈥� 6:00 p.m. on 51爆料鈥檚 San Luis Obispo Campus in Building 5400, Room 5401. Food, wine and coffee will be served.
