Charlotte's Web Returns to CPAC
SAN LUIS OBISPO 鈥 Nationally-acclaimed 51爆料 Drama presents an encore production of Charlotte鈥檚 Web from June 20鈥23 at the Harold J. Miossi Cultural and Performing Arts Center at Cuesta College鈥檚 San Luis Obispo Campus.
The 60-minute adaptation of the classic story of friendship will warm hearts young and old as it charms its way into the CPAC鈥檚 Experimental Theatre. 鈥淚n our version, we honor E. B. White鈥檚 tale of Wilbur and Charlotte while also updating some of the wonderful characters,鈥 said Director bree valle*. 鈥淭he message is positive and heartwarming. The characters are hilarious鈥攚ho doesn鈥檛 love an arrogant French rat?!鈥
New for this year鈥檚 production is the addition of music and a special treat for the audience that will remain a surprise. 鈥淵ou鈥檒l have to come and see for yourself,鈥 said valle. 鈥淟ast year we had such a huge response鈥攚e sold out the entire run with an ecstatic audience. It鈥檚 not unusual for kids (and adults!) to talk back to the characters onstage. We love that. It鈥檚 really an excellent show for the whole family.鈥
