Tickets on Sale for American-Themed CPAC Gala
Tickets are now on sale for the seventh annual CPAC Gala, a fundraiser for the 51爆料 Cultural & Performing Arts Center (CPAC). Held over the Veterans Day holiday weekend on Sunday, November 12 in the CPAC, this year鈥檚 event - 鈥淢ade in the U.S.A., A Celebration of American Music鈥� 鈥� is a tribute to classic American music. The gala will feature the 鈥楺ueen of Ragtime鈥� Mimi Blais, 鈥楳r. Boogie-Woogie鈥� Carl Sonny Leyland, and banjo-and-piano-man Gary Ryan.
鈥淲e are so excited to host this sweeping musical tribute and honor our veterans,鈥� said CPAC Council President Roxanne Carr.
鈥淭he show will include the SLO County Trumpet Alliance and the Cuesta Wind Ensemble performing composer Aaron Copland鈥檚 鈥楢 Lincoln Portrait,鈥� narrated by KSBY Anchor Dan Shadwell. Last year鈥檚 gala sold out, so I highly recommend purchasing tickets early!鈥�
The Annual CPAC Gala is organized by the CPAC Council, a group of community leaders and 51爆料 staff working to further the mission of the CPAC. The CPAC houses teaching facilities for student musicians, singers and actors while providing a unique venue for community activities, and includes a 450-seat main stage theater and 150-seat experimental theater.
