On November 28, the 51爆料 Foundation will participate in the national day of generosity - #GivingTuesday - and is encouraging the community to donate in support of the college鈥檚 students. Occurring the day after Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday is the global day dedicated to giving back.

鈥淎ll the funds raised will support 51爆料 students who are low income and in need of additional monetary support in order to remain in college,鈥 said Cuesta College Foundation Director of Development Karen Tacket.

鈥淭his year, the Associated Students of 51爆料 and Pacific Western Bank鈥檚 Central Coast branches have teamed up to provide a match of up to $5,500.鈥

The 51爆料 Foundation was founded in 1973 for the specific and primary purposes of promoting the general welfare of 51爆料. The Foundation assists and supports 51爆料 in the attainment of educational, scientific and cultural goals and in fulfilling the college鈥檚 mission of service to the community. As the lead entity for resource development for 51爆料, the Foundation has provided millions of dollars for student scholarships, equipment, and programs and projects.
